Shull School Staff believe in the enormous potential of our students. We have established high standards of learning that we expect all students to achieve. It is our job to create an environment in our classrooms that engages students in academic work that results in this high level of achievement. We are confident that with our support and help, students can master challenging curricula and become thoughtful, caring citizens. We are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to achieve this shared educational mission.

Shull School Goals

The following goal statements for Shull School students are those we would expect the well rounded student to accomplish. However, we feel that in order to reach these goals, there has to be a close school/home relationship.  Children spend most of their time at home; therefore, you, the parents, are the most important influence on your children.  We will strive to meet these goals by exposing children to learning experiences that reinforce their development.  We will also need your help and support in order for your children to be successful.

Message from the Principal

Dear Shull Community Members,
I am humbled and honored to introduce myself to you as the new principal of Shull Elementary. I would like to thank Superintendent, Mr. Carl Coles, the Executive Cabinet, Bonita Unified Board of Education, and the hiring team for entrusting me with leading the Shull community. I share this community’s dedication to helping students master challenging curricula and becoming thoughtful, caring citizens on campus and beyond.
I come to you most recently from Fremont Unified School District where I served as Assistant Principal of Horner Junior High School and Irvington High School. Prior to this, I served as Assistant Principal of Brier Elementary. Before becoming a school administrator, I was an English and History teacher. I am excited to be at Shull and work with such a wonderful community.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, our instruction has shifted to a distance learning program. I want to put forth my confidence in our staff to handle this challenge.  Our teachers have been hard at work preparing for this new type of educational environment by participating in professional development, technology training, and collaboration with their peers. They are a staff that is dedicated to providing the students of Bonita Unified the best possible education they can. I have no doubt that despite the challenges of today, they will work their hardest to continue to help students learn and grow.
Despite these challenges, Shull will continue to strive for excellence and providing an equitable education for all students. We are employing our new learning management system, Canvas, to give students the best possible access to their education.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to continue serving the Shull community.
Adam Eslami
Principal of Shull Elementary
