Shull School Staff believe in the enormous potential of our students. We have established high standards of learning that we expect all students to achieve. It is our job to create an environment in our classrooms that engages students in academic work that results in this high level of achievement. We are confident that with our support and help, students can master challenging curricula and become thoughtful, caring citizens. We are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to achieve this shared educational mission.

Shull School Goals

The following goal statements for Shull School students are those we would expect the well rounded student to accomplish. However, we feel that in order to reach these goals, there has to be a close school/home relationship.  Children spend most of their time at home; therefore, you, the parents, are the most important influence on your children.  We will strive to meet these goals by exposing children to learning experiences that reinforce their development.  We will also need your help and support in order for your children to be successful.
  • Learn how to be a good citizen.
  • Learn how to respect and get along with people who think, dress and act differently.
  • Learn about and try to understand the changes that take place in the world.

Message from the Principal

Dear Shull Elementary Community Members,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Shull Elementary! As we begin the 2023-2024 school year, I wanted to take a moment to emphasize the two crucial pillars that we believe contribute significantly to the growth and success of our students: regular attendance and fostering a love for reading at home.

At Shull Elementary, we firmly believe in the enormous potential of our students. Our mission is to establish high standards of learning and support every student in achieving these goals. It is our shared responsibility to create an engaging academic environment that empowers our students to excel and reach their full potential.

Attendance plays a vital role in a student's educational journey. When students attend school regularly, they gain access to consistent learning opportunities, build strong relationships with their teachers and peers, and experience a sense of belonging within our school community. We kindly request your support in ensuring your child's consistent attendance, as it lays the foundation for their academic and personal growth.

Furthermore, we understand the significant impact of reading at home on a child's overall development. Reading is not merely a skill; it is a gateway to knowledge, imagination, and empathy. We encourage you to set aside time each day to read with your child, discuss stories, and explore new worlds through books. By fostering a love for reading at home, you are nurturing a lifelong learner in your child.

As we move forward, we pledge to work collaboratively with our dedicated staff, students, and esteemed parents to achieve our shared educational mission. We are committed to providing the necessary support and guidance to our students so they can master challenging curricula and become thoughtful, caring citizens who positively contribute to society.

I am eagerly looking forward to an incredible year ahead, filled with accomplishments, growth, and memorable moments for our entire school community. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating your children.

Sincerely,

Adam Eslami
Principal, Shull Elementary School
